Doctors Without Borders (or Médecins Sans Frontières, in French) is a private, non-profit, international humanitarian aid organization whose mission is to provide medical assistance to populations in danger, in accordance to the Principles of the Doctors Without Borders Charter in more than 70 countries.
The partnership aims to strengthen a UNICEF program in the Ucayali region of Peru, which provides greater opportunities for the development of adolescents in vulnerable situations, ensuring access to environments that promote their mental health, quality healthcare services, and risk prevention programs.
The Fundação OMS initiative promotes the early diagnosis of dementia to identify initial symptoms and enable more effective interventions. In addition, it supports integrated care and assistance for patients and caregivers, while strengthening healthcare systems and community-based services. This effort is carried out in collaboration with national governments, healthcare systems, and local stakeholders.
